Education

Education is one of the key attributes for growth and progress in any community and opens doors to many opportunities at both personal and community levels. It is essential for the overall development of humans from early childhood to adulthood.  Therefore education remains at the centre of all of CTT’s  activities. With this in mind, plans to build its first school for orphans and vulnerable children are at an advanced stage. 

Since its inception CTT has facilitated access to affordable education and skills training to more than 20 000 children and youth. UNICEF estimates that 40% (69 million) of all children of school going age across Eastern and Southern Africa are currently not in school due to various social and economic challenges, including the COVID pandemic. In the face of such statistics CTT is determined to make a difference.
